MAP Families

MAP aims at serving new immigrants and refugees that are struggling with hardships and difficulties and are willing to take the next steps and move forward. The program provides a safe and supportive environment for families to seek assistance during their integrative journey to Canada.

Family and Youth Outreach Workers support families through different kinds of services, which include:

  • Ÿ  One-on-one Support
  • Ÿ  Individualized Coaching
  • Ÿ  Social and Life Skills Support Group
  • Ÿ  Services for Employment
  • Ÿ  Housing
  • Ÿ  Health Care
  • Ÿ  Supported Access to Community Services

 

ACTIVITIES:

“Christmas Celebration”

Newcomers celebrate their Christmas together to expand their social circle so as to reduce isolation, in order to enhance the process of settling in Canada.

ABOUT MAP

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Moving Ahead Program (MAP) provides specialized services to immigrant and refugee families (adults and youth) through a case-management base, client-centred approach with a goal to support them toward a successful settlement and integration outcome.


LANGUAGES OFFERED

Amharic, Arabic, Cantonese, Farsi, French, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, Kurdish, Mandarin, Spanish, Swahili, Tagalog, Tigrinya, Turkish and Vietnamese.
